The Waterhead Hotel lies in a stunning location beside Coniston Water not far from Coniston village. Waterhead has 22 ensuite bedrooms the majority with unspoilt lake and/or mountain view. The mature gardens lead down to the waters edge and our jetty is one of the many places for those special moments and perfect photograghs. The hotel boasts a varied guest history from the Campbell Family to Kathleen Farrier, the latter who donated the small grand piano that can be heard in our lounge whilst relaxing in peaceful surroundings.

The Mountain View Restaurant can comfortably seat 60 from a formal wedding to a more relaxed buffet style. Our chefs provide an excellent menu using local produce where possible and can create a menu to suit your needs. The Waterhead has the advantage of being able to cater for the small to the large wedding with a marquee in the garden.
