The Roundthorn Country House is one of Cumbria's premier wedding venues and is renowned locally for its expertise in Wedding Receptions. The Cumbrian Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for a Wedding Breakfast, and for the evening, up to 200 guests can be invited when they can join in the dancing, or enjoy a quieter drink in the Lounge Bar.
The Roundthorn is licensed for Civil Marriages in the Eden and Eamont and Lowther Rooms, and the Cumbrian Suite, which are suitable for ceremonies from 10-100 people, offering a pleasant alternative to the Registry Office. We would be pleased to talk to you about your specific requirements, in conjunction with the Registrar, and put together a unique package for your special day, including the Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast, Reception Drinks and Accommodation.
